Hi Marius, thank you for pointing that out. I had added vt(4) behind comment markers in that file, since I did not know whether splash(4) was used with vt or not. From the feedback that I received, I assumed that it should work (and I seemed to remember that there was some kind of splash support in vt), but apparently in error. I'll back-out the change from splash.4 then ...
