The only thing I see different on my windows side is the Java version. Obviously the one on OpenVMS is a HP version 1.5 and my windows is at 1.6. I can't get HP version JRE to test on my windows. Other than that the file format is an indexed type and has an extension of .dat. I wonder if that matters? It would be nice to have some pointers to look to debug this issue.
