Port for the SSH connection might be taken either from the SSH tunnel configuration (resides in ~/.subversion/config [tunnels] section) or from the cached credentials (delete ~/.subversion/auth). In Eclipse also Eclipse keyring storage is used as a credentials cache, its default location is ECLIPSE_HOME/configuration/org.eclipse.core.runtime/.keyring Also, SVNKit supports OS X default credentials cache (keychain), try cleaning it. Another option is to specify URL with a port: Also you may specify URL, like ssh://host:22/..." Actually, in case SVNKit cannot connect with the certain credentials, it should prompt you for another ones, looks like a bug if it does not happen.
