It doesn’t need to be defined in RFC 6838.

As long as there’s a registered media type (or let’s face it, something that’s
commonly known and used), you can just use that.

Subject: Does swagger editor support markdown as a mime type?

Hi,

Recently, our application needs to add markdown as a input format. However, the
specification is compliance with RFC 6838 where markdown is not introduced. Any
alternative way to allow markdown type in swagger editor?

Thanks.

Best regards,

Jiahuan Yang
