logging: for logtime include micro-seconds
According to wikepedia that's 1 millionth (0.000001 or 10^-6 or
1/1_000_000) of a second.
Surely we'll never need any thing finer than that; just like long
ago UNIX never needed anything finer than 1 second resolution ....
