logging: delete the global cur_from
Follow-up ea24984127504720ec102d880ef45c7c9891de43 from back in April
which poisoned its use- if there are still logging calls relying on
CUR_FROM then they are not covered by the testsuite.
The only known downside is that pexpect() / passert() loose their
CUR_FROM context - that is a separate problem.
