(The hint was Paul stated to get the problem on his machine after he
rebooted his host for the first time in a couple of months. That was when
kernel updates caught up with him.)
I don't see anything obvious in the fedora kernel spec file :(
but it does include upgrading to newer kernels upstream too, so we would
have to check all the kernel sub versions changelog too :(
