We have found and fixed a bug in the underlying 'pdata' kernel module, see:
https://lore.kernel.org/linux-crypto/[email protected]/T/
https://lore.kernel.org/linux-kernel/[email protected]/T/
In terms of stability, this fixes an issue where 'pcrypt' would just halt after
2^32 packets, without diagnostics.
This happened on a 1 Gbit/s Ethernet line running an MTU of 1400 bytes at full
speed after 14 to 17 hours.
Thanks for the information. Note that pcrypt as a solution has been
obsoleted and instead support for RFC9611 has landed in the kernel
and will soon be supported by libreswan.
