I can see that when my connection comes up, options.xl2tpd is read and pppd runs ip-up.local
What I can't see is what happens in reverse. I can see the connection timing out and dying but ip-down does not seem to run. Just seems everything dies quietly ! I'd like to be able to run some stuff when the connection comes down and not sure how to easily detect that. I've clearly missed something fundamental here, but I'm blowed if I can see what. Any advice ? B. Rgds John From /var/log/messages Mar 31 18:09:46 test xl2tpd[8379]: Connection established to 1.2.3.4, 35221. Local: 29331, Remote: 38388 (ref=0/0).
