I started messing about with Libreswan again after a while doing other stuff currently on libreswan-3.14-2.el6.x86_64.rpm
I suddenly started getting this error in my logs. I can't see any particular reason for it but clearly something has upset the applecart (possible server updates but I had rebooted a couple of times already without any noticeable effect?) Nov 19 19:11:53: ASSERTION FAILED at /root/rpmbuild/BUILD/libreswan-3.14/programs/pluto/crypt_symkey.c:128: sizeof_bytes > 0 Nov 19 19:11:53: ABORT at /root/rpmbuild/BUILD/libreswan-3.14/programs/pluto/crypt_symkey.c:128 ABORT at /root/rpmbuild/BUILD/libreswan-3.14/programs/pluto/crypt_symkey.c:128 Around the same time I now started getting a bundle of these as well in messages : Nov 19 19:16:16 test kernel: padlock: VIA PadLock Hash Engine not detected. Nov 19 19:16:16 test kernel: sha512_ssse3: Neither AVX nor SSSE3 is available/usable. I also note that it is recommended to update to 3.15 but are there any el6 rpms built ? B. Rgds John
