Dear Mr. Wouters,
I have succeeded to connect with IKEv1 L2TP IPSEC w PSK from my laptop
from home ethernet device.
Previous successful connect was also from this Windows 10 laptop.
The version of libreswan is 3.32:
root@domac:/etc/ipsec.d# ipsec version
Linux Libreswan 3.32 (netkey) on 4.19.0-17-amd64
root@domac:/etc/ipsec.d#
Now that I have v1 working, I will try to implement IKEv2 without pressure.
Thank you very much for all the help and the advice. I hope I could
contact you again if there will be any problems.
I see that libreswan is a powerful tool. It only needs some
autoconfiguration tool for the novice user, and it
will surely be more widely accepted.
Thank you again.
Kind regards,
Mirsad Todorovac

code returned on failure is 789."
But the connection to UniFi UDM-Pro L2TP IPSEC PSK VPN works ...
Kind regards,

Dear Mr. Wouters,
I was unsuccessful in trying to produce a VPN Client log.
c:\ netsh trace start VpnClient per=yes maxsize=0 filemode=single
produced a C:\Users\mtodo\AppData\Local\Temp\NetTraces\NetTrace.etl
log that requires PerfView and it
is all Greek to me.
C:\Windows\tracing\rasman.log is empty (size 0).
Any idea? I'm on a Windows 10 Professional box.
Can you check the event viewer log ?
Paul
