Is there any significant gameplay difference between the CD-ROM and floppy
versions of Master of Magic? I always thought there wasn't any, other
than the bonus of the added convenience of the CD; however, the price
bonus that CD versions get on eBay is giving me pause. (I don't have an
unwrapped CD version I can check, and Mobygames is currently having
technical difficulties.)

So what's the deal? I have a small pile of these that I acquired on the
cheap. I'd like to know if I can burn the floppy version onto a CD-R and
claim it's the full version. I guess maybe the modern PC user doesn't
want to deal with 7-floppy games any more.

Sooner or later I'll get around to selling this mountain of extra games
..
