I do have a little background if it helps. Breach was a classic made by the fine folks at Omnitrend. I beleive it was originally an ST/Amiga release, and it was very popular at the time (1987). Because of this, it was ported to IBM. I've never heard of Legend, which means it likely wasn't popular, and therefore might never have been ported.
Omintrend's follow up series to Breach was one called Paladin (1988), which I like a lot, too. It was basically the same tactical gameplay as Breach in a fantasy setting. Of course, Ominitrend's most sought after game is its original "Universe" for the Atari 8-bit. I've seen this go for hundreds on eBay. Universe II was a good and very ambitious follow up on the ST. | I checked some of the docs inside and it has an ad for a game called Breach 2 by the same company. Breach was available for Amiga, Atari ST and IBM so maybe LotL was made for IBM also? Tom |
