I love BidVille. From a seller's perspective it's better than eBay. No fees, one page to fill out info instead of five. Yeah, the traffic is far less than eBay but it relists automatically up to, I believe, 20 times, and you can run month-long auctions, so it's very low-maintenance. The strategy I use is, list stuff with a fair (but not outright cheap) starting bid, then make the BuyItNow what you'd like to get, but not too unreasonably high. A lot of my BidVille sales have been BuyItNow, from people who don't want to wait for the auction to end. Get the bulk-loader if you're planning on listing a lot at once.
Thanks very much for your experiences. How many units a month do you move out of your bidville account? More than 10? Normally I'm a patient guy, but I need to move this stuff in less than six weeks, so I'm trying to gauge if it's worth it or not.
Also, if bidville has no fees, then how do they make money? A percentage of the closing bid?
