Hey gang, hoping somebody here with hardware knowledge could help me out.
Awhile back the battery in my retro rig died and my CMOS info was lost. I need to re-enter the basic info about my master hard drive (cylinders, heads, write precomp, etc.) but I opened the case and the drive does not have this info on the label (my slave drive does but it's a different maker). Already tried Google and the manufacturer's page but came up empty. Anybody know how I might get this information, or is there a way to calculate it based on drive size, etc.? I will provide the full tech specs through private e-mail.
I'd be happy to help. Sling me a scan or readable photo of the sticker on the drive and I can dig something out of my archives.
