just thought I'd open an invitation to a historic event, that officially justifies our hobby. The Smithsonian Institution is now having a seminar on 'An exploration on the art and science of electronic game design', appropriately called "Games People Play". It's scheduled for Sunday, May 16th. Here's a link to the details:

The Origin Museum will be there (after all, Doug Church, lead programmer of Ultima Underworld 1 and 2 will be featured!), and it would be a fun reason to come and see our great Capitol city. Paula and I would certainly show you all the town on Saturday, and perhaps even have a 'round table' at The Museum on Saturday night for anything related to collecting! The first round of drinks would be on us! :)

Please reply and let us know if there'd be any interest in a get-together in May.
