hi,
there are two swfml (the XML used by swfmill) dialects. that reference
is for swfml-l ("lowlevel"), which is useful if you want to manipulate
an existing SWF directly. it's very close to the SWF file format, and
not exactly comfortable to use if you want to create SWFs -- that's
what swfml-s ("simple") is for.
there are two pages with documentation, the old one
(<http://iterative.org/swfmill/doc/using-swfmill.html>) and the
slightly less outdated one on the osflash wiki
(<http://osflash.org/swfmill>).
