So you might have to specify to users that they need to code in a changeable
link via a variable which can be set via flashvars.

This is an advertising industry standard, where banner display ads clicks
are all controlled by clickTAG variables passed by the publisher / 3rd party
ad server.

Then on your page you just let someone type in their destination URL and you
set a flashvar variable for that ad when you display it on screen.

Basically set some documentation / specs on what needs to go into the ad.
Google info for Atlas or DoubleClick ad specs, and you should get the idea.

Subject: Clicking the SWF

Hi,

I am building a homepage that allows people to upload SWF movies as a
banner. I am using SWFObject to display them, which works fine. But
how do i turn the banner into a custom link wihout editing the SWF
file? Is there an easy way to do this? I am using SWFObject 2.0 and
static publishing. Thanks in advance.
