I mentioned in an earlier discussion thread that I was working on getting expressInstall.as able to be compiled using open-source AS compilers (namely, 'mtasc') instead of relying only on the proprietary .fla (and Flash IDE) -- in an attempt to achieve better open-source conformance. I've completed that effort and it turned out to not be too bad, actually.
I posted this enhancement suggestion about it: http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/issues/detail?id=233 The 'mtasc' compiler (Motion-Twin's Actionscript Compiler) is available for free here: http://www.mtasc.org/ -------------------------- FTA: My suggested enhancement code (and including other suggested changes from issue #154 which I filed some time ago) is available directly here: http://www.flensed.com/code/dev/expressInstall.zip Hope maybe these enhancements are helpful for the list, and that it is appropriate to help increase the open-source conformance of SWFObject as a whole. --Kyle --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SWFObject" group.
