Youen, there are hundreds of us on the list who use swfobject 2.x in FF (win 
and mac) all day, everyday, and it's just fine.  Your problem (especially if 
it's across many different sites like that) is almost certainly local on 
your client machine(s).  I would suggest disabling FF plugins like AdBlock, 
and also looking at the FAQ for things such as a corrupt flash player 
install.  But please don't unnecessarily insult this project by assuming 
that thousands upon thousands of people and sites are using a broken script. 
SWFObject 2.s *is* very popular, but it is so because it's so good.
