I am SO grateful for that Aran... I'll read and write back afterwards.
I would like to use NeoLao player. (flv-player.net) It does have a JS
version and also the non-js maxi version does have some JS capability
to stop and start etc. bottom of this link's page:

http://flv-player.net/players/maxi/documentation/

I'm not up to speed at all on what it takes or the best
method....yet.... I DO stay with things though. :---)
I should mention that I really do not want to use JW player at all. I
find the NeoLao player at flv-player.net is perhaps less though I
really like it and hope it works for me.

I am thinking, for one, that why should I use the capability of the
'player' and invest time learning it's quirks when there is probably a
jquery etc. way to stop and start and replace the flv videos... yes
maybe?

My BIGGEST challenge will likely be getting my menu to do both claling
the new video at the same time that it does it's regular menu thing.

So.... Any other thoughts welcomed obviously.... hehehe
