That's an interesting idea, but is a Flash issue, not so much a swfobject issue. Since we focus on swfobject here, you might have better luck finding information about your topic at the official Adobe Flash forum ( http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/index.cfm?forumid=15) or other Flash-specific forums such as http://kirupa.com and http://actionscript.org.
You could also try the forums of popular FLV players, such as JW Player ( http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/forum) and Flowplayer ( http://flowplayer.org/forum/index.html) since their users have probably asked for similar functionality.
