So the carousel.swf is hard coded to load the file named carousel.xml.

What is happening is that since the swf is being loaded from a different
location, the swf makes a call to load the xml, and it is in the context of
the HTML page, so it tries to load the XML from:

http://www.littletreeartstudios.com/index.php/site/studios/carousel.xml

At the moment, the way your server is set up means it serves up the
http://www.littletreeartstudios.com/index.php/site/studios/ page instead.

So, since the swf cannot take in a XML location externally, you can either:

1. set the BASE param on the swf to try to set the correct relative pathing

<script type="text/javascript">
                        var flashvars = {};
                        var params = {};
                        params.base =
"http://www.littletreeartstudios.com/images/";;
                        var attributes = {};

swfobject.embedSWF("http://www.littletreeartstudios.com/images/carousel.swf";
, "doors", "590", "150", "9.0.0", false, flashvars, params, attributes);
                </script>

OR if that still doiesn't work

2. place the carousel.xml in the location the swf is trying to load it with
absolute paths to the iamges

vertical mode)
blurScale - set blur scale value (recomended values are powers of 2: 2

The only thing I have not hard linked, is the the path to the xml
itself... could this be the problem?

thoughts?
