if you don't see your SWF but *do* see the Flash Player context menu, it
usually means the path to your SWF is incorrect. however, you said it works
in FF but not IE, which means FF is loading the file just fine and the path
*should* be correct.

try using an absolute path and test the page on a server.  do you still have
the same problem?
