Simon.

1) You page will not render in FF as you do not have the required CSS to
display a 100% width/height swf . See FAQ #1
http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/wiki/faq (try looking at the site in FF,
and you will see it is totally blank)

2) the scaling param (or lack there of) is causing the entire swf to scale,
and hence you are seeing at a size you did not intend (and making the
"resolution" look bad). Either set the size to the stage size you created in
the IDE, or you will need to add a bunch of code to do a proper liquid
layout on browser resize.

3) your swf is >700Kb. Are you really going to punish users to wait that
long to see any content? Even though I am on broadband, it took almost 2 min
to load the file !

Type: http

Request: 595 bytes
Response: 730225 bytes
Total: 730820 bytes

Response Time: 114.769 seconds

If you are going to do a full flash website, the convention is to have a
shell movie which loads the minimum content up front, and then when the user
clicks on site sections, it loads the reuired child swfs on demand...

That being said, I think your web server is just slow, as it took 6 seconds
to load the 10kb swfobject.js file. You may want to look into a better
hosting provider ?
