Tim.

Sorry, but this is not really the right place for general Flash related
questions. We try to keep the lists specific to SWFObject related issues /
bugs etc.

You will find better help on the generalist Flash forums like kirupa and
acctionscript.org

The only quick thing I will add is that depending on the encoding settings,
the machine playing back the video may choke due to the CPU speed of the
machine. Decoding and playing back video is expensive CPU wise and older
machines can suffer these days...

Subject: Video not playing continuously

(Sorry I accidentally submitted this post before finishing it. Here
is the complete post.)

We are having a problem with video "hiccups" on our site. Even
after the entire .FLV file has been downloaded, the video will
sometimes stop briefly, then continue playing again. This often
happens 3 or 4 times during a one-minute video even on a high
bandwidth connection -- although bandwidth is probably not the
issue.
We are using the FLVPlayback component and calling the ActionScript
3 method playWhenEnoughDownloaded() to start playing the video. I
find it puzzling that the problem occurs even when the entire video
has been cached.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or something similar? Any
suggestions?
   The site is www.sendablessing.com .
Thanks for any help you can offer.
