Hi Vincent,

First, thank you very much for taking the time to evaluate after
mother's day. I look forward to your feedback.

A quick note, I need to clarify the tutorial. You can add your own
Flash obects to your page but you won't be able to use Enhance to
control how they play (Rollover, Click, Auto) - they will play however
they were originally coded to play. To use the Play mode feature, you
have to add flash that was tweaked or developed using our developer
kit - just a few lines of code that let's enhance control the object.

I would love to make a Mac version. This has been six years in the
making. The first version was Windows-IE only. This version is
Windows and cross-browser. I originally intended to sell it but I am
no marketer and getting interest was difficult. Not wanting to see my
creation go to waste, I decided to give the first version away. If it
takes off, I hope to make a second version including a Mac version.

Encapsulating the other versions of .swf object will be easy and I can
probably make it a choice when someone publishes. It is just a matter
of finding the time to do the upgrade. At the moment I am trying to
get the word out on this version.

The quick-no-project method is a great idea but will have to wait for
now. It is two clicks and typing in a project name.

The tool does more than allow you to add Flash - it also allows you to
create e-learning and attach context-sensitive help to HTML forms.

The target markets are people who use swfObject but wish to do so in a
wysiwig manner, people with no or limited technical knowledge who wish
to add flash to a web site, HTML developers and/or e-learning
developers or help developers who wish to add e-learning to a site or
context-sensitive help to an HTML form.

If Dreamweaver starts to use swfObject, I think my tool will still
have place for two reasons - one it is free and two, the e-learning/
help feature.

Thanks again for your time!

Steve
