Niklas.

SWFObject does not read / write cookie values as part of its library
methods, but it is trivial to do so with javascript. Google is your friend,
and you will find many cookie helper functions within minutes.

Subject: Is there a way to set a cookie if flash is installed?

Hi there!

I would like to set a cookie if the user has a certain flashversion or
higher installed on their computer. Is this possible with the help of
SWFObject? I guess it could mean running a javascript function if that
flashversion or higher is installed. I haven't really found anything
regarding this... What I've found are ways of telling if the write of
the swf embedded on the page was success with function returning a
boolean value. But this would in my case be to late... :(

All the best, Niklas
