Not in general, no. The API changes we made were incremental, meaning they 
should be backwards compatible. In addition, the functionality of the 
project was just improved. There were of course plenty of internal rewrites 
to fix bugs and provide more robustness, but none of them should 
fundamentally alter the way your swfobject code works now.

You should however definitely take a look at the new 2.2 API additions, and 
see if there are things there now that you can take advantage of. There's a 
good bit extra now that you have access to.

Also, as an aside, it's always a good time to revisit things such as your 
ExpressInstall code (if any). Are you enabling that feature? What version 
are you checking for?  Is it time to bump up the version check (to v9 or 
even v10)? Etc, etc.
