Wanted to chime in and say that the random query string append fix
worked for me. As Aran did, I simply changed by code from:

var swfUrl = "swf/video_player.swf";

to:

var swfUrl = "swf/video_player.swf?r=" + new Date().getTime();

Things are now working just fine.
