So if you delivery the same page over http, then it all works? If it does
work, then it is not a swfobject issue / misconfiguration, but somwething to
do with the server specifically.

Have you tried to point to the absolute address for the two swfs with the
https:// protocol in from to ensure that the resources are in fact being
deliverred over SSL?
