in ff3 and in chrome opera too the width of the div wrapping the swf is
 zero width (ie 6 is ok; ie8 has gone bonkers again and disabled flash so
not sure about that)
mixing this into Kyle's advice you then apply the width via the classname.
 I would also wrap the paragraph that follows and control that with css
class too - but after you apply the width its fine in those browsers too
