Well, I am unsure what is up with your particular system, but the test page(s) has definitely been tested and verified working in FF2 and FF3 on PC and Mac on multiple machines.
If swfobject failed to display for those browsers for full screen, we would have a lot more complaints flooding the lists etc. Please test on another machine and see how you go.
