If you have followed the instructions correctly, then you as a user with a
Valid flash p[layer should see no difference at all :) It is only users who
do not have the required Flash player who will see the alternative content.

You can post a link to your page if you want a sanity check that things are
looking ok. Using the SWFObject code generator is always a good option for
beginners : http://www.bobbyvandersluis.com/swfobject/generator/index.html

I would give the search engines some time to (re)index your site. Or if it
is new, you can add it to the Google index here:
http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
