So I would recommend getting a simple page (non-wordpress) up and running to
ensure everything Flash and SWFObject wise is happy. A good way to do this
is to use the SWFObject code generator available for download or online
here:
http://www.bobbyvandersluis.com/swfobject/generator/index.html


After everything is working, then get it rolled into your WP environment.

Here is a list of WP SWFObject plugins which will reduce the amount of code
you need to look after yourself:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/swfobject

Any of the plugins which say they use SWFObject 2.x should work well for you
(v2.2 is our current released version)
