Curvy Corners does have an issue in ie8

doing as Aran suggests keeps it simple (well background swfs is going to be
complex - but mixing swfs with curvy corners may well have all kinds of
issues)

putting your curvy corners in the swf means you have less going on -
therefore less to go wrong
