This is a browser thing.  Try looking into the hiding the status
message in your browser.

I also think that you can set the properties on your images folder to
not be accessed by the "world" via your FTP client.  So, if someone
did manage to get the url that points straight to your image, they
wouldn't be able to see them.  Not sure how this would effect your
flash from accessing them though.

Keep in mind, there are programs (i.e. Fiddler2) and even browsers
(i.e. Safari) that have a developer tool built in that tells the user
every single file a webpage sends requests to the server for.  There
really is no way to keep people from finding out the location of your
images, unless they are embedded into your swf.

It's kinda like the oldschool "No Right Click" for HTML pages.  You
can only make it more difficult, but can't really prevent.
