Hi I've had a site running for a while now, using SWFobject 2.1 to place Flash files on pages "over the top of" alternative HTML/CSS content.
The site is http://www.chakra.net.au It's been working for ages but in the last week *some* people using Safari on Mac are not seeing the flash, nor the alternative content, nor anything further down the page (the footer sits below both the flash and html). No code has changed for months, the only thing I can think that has changed is either Safari, Flash player or SWFobject. I updated to SWFobject 2.2 on my test server but the person with the problem says that doesn't work either. The person isn't aware of any changes to Safari or Flash player versions. Additionally, apparently in Firefox 3 on Windows 7 the Flash is shifted to the right such that it doesn't appear on the screen. This may be what is happening on Mac/Safari but unfortunately I don't have access to a Mac or Windows 7 to check things out. Any suggestions? cheers Patrick -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SWFObject" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
