Hi Basil. You cannot attach to events like that exactly. If you want to invoke a js function when a certain state or action occurs within your swf, then you need to look at using ExternInterface.
Do a Google search, or check out this tut: http://learnswfobject.com/advanced-topics/external-interface/ Cheers, Aran On Tue, Jun 1, 2010 at 7:13 AM, basil valentine < [email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > How can I add events like onReadyStateChange? etc > Can't find any info.tried > myMovie.addEventListener("onReadyStateChange","my_func",true); > ( any many variations of the above) > > also in the object <object ...... onReadyStateChange="my_func()> > > no joy > > > Please help > thanks > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "SWFObject" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]<swfobject%[email protected]> > . > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/swfobject?hl=en. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SWFObject" group.
