The logic could be something like this:

1) run swfobject.hasFlashPlayerVersion (see
http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/wiki/api)
2a) if user has required version of Flash, copy alt div content and place in
other hidden "link" div. You could use cloneNode() or grab the innerHTML etc
and reinsert anywhere in the DOM.
2b) if user does not have Flash version, show alt content

If you need to reuse this alt content multiple times on the page, it would
be a good idea to store it as a var reference...
