SWFObject is only responsible for placing a Flash Object on your web page. Controlling the Flash Object beyond that will depend on the Flash Object being controlled.
There are two notions of time that I imagine you are considering. 1. Hitting a button and telling SWFObject to "load" a movie. Hit a different button, and it loads a different movie. 2. Hitting a button and telling SWFObject to fast forward the movie to a certain spot, or maybe load a different movie. The first one you can definitely do. THe second one depends on the SWF you are embedding and whether the movie player gives you access to time indexes via flash variables. If it does, then you can use the documentation on the SWFObject website to embed the appropriate flashvariables as part of your launch. Add an onclick handler to the button of your choice to call the function that launches SWFObject, and you're free and clear. But again, this depends on the movie player you are using. Hope this helps.... arrgghhj Aran you posted just before me!!!! But he speaks the truth rightly. Hope the conversation is helpful.
