I cannot reproduce (at least on a mac). The banner with the blue shoe always appeared for me on the 5 times I tried.
Given that your main swf is displaying, this is as far as swfobject gets involved. If there are weirdnesses within your swf, then this is s purely flash related bug. I have found in the past that most of these issues are around how the browser is caching assets etc. You can always try tacking on a unique querysting like "banner.swf?id=" + new Date().getTime(); (this will force a fresh download on each view). See if that gets rid of your issue - if so, you know what direction to look in :) Cheers, Aran On Sun, Dec 5, 2010 at 9:54 PM, gordian <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello, > > My site is set to load a banner (http://www.ankshoes.com) along with > SWFAddress 2.4 (using SWFObject 2.0) after the main SWF loads. > > I'm not a coding expert but relatively handy and I can't pin down why > the banner fails to load in Chrome.
