Further to what Vincent is saying: When I tried the original link the static object did not work for me in ff4 beta9 whilst the testsuite worked fine in that browser
I did'nt mention this then since in addition to using a beta browser I am also connecting via a tethered mobile (this completely changes the mark up and use of external files) either of these factors could have been the cause of the issue, however I think that the garbling of markup merely prevented a potential error from being spotted.
