Used the code generator for dynamic publishing and the alternative content (which us in case of failure) tells about not having flash player, however the alternative content will also be shown in any kind of failure (say the file name or path is wrong)
That's not correct. SWFObject only replaces the alternate content if the flash plugin itself is found and is of the sufficient version. SWFObject does no checking to see whether the SWF you're trying to load is actually available or not. So, the alternate content should only show in the case of there being a failure to find a flash plugin of the sufficient version.
