Hi,
I'm trying to convert realmedia files to flash on
linux (SuSE 9, kernel 2.6). The plan is to use
mencoder to convert RM to AVI and then avi2swf to make
the SWF
In case it helps, the mencoder I use is:
mencoder -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=800
-ofps 12 -nosound test.rm -o test.avi -endpos 10 -vop
scale=128:96
but when I "avi2swf" on this AVI then I end up with
the following
<codec keeper> : CreateVideoDecoder(): Unknown codec
0x34504d46 = "FMP4"
I've also tried transcoding to AVI with DX50 (ie, if
interested: mencoder -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=800 -ofps 12 -ffourcc DX50
-nosound test.rm -o test.avi -endpos 10 -vop
scale=128:96) and get
<codec keeper> : CreateVideoDecoder(): Unknown codec
0x30355844 = "DX50"
Is this a problem with my avifiles setup and, if so,
can someone tell me what's likely to be missing in my
setup so that I can try and fix this?
