Is there anything in the pipeline to update the pdf2swf utility to output ActionScript 3-friendly SWF movies?
I'm building a Flex 2 app and I'm using the pdf2swf to convert my reporting engine's PDF reports to SWF. The SWF-generated reports load fine into my Flex 2 app but I can't turn pages in the report (each page of the report is in its own frame of the pdf2swf-generated SWF file obviously) and since Flex 2 is ActionScript 3 and the pdf2swf movies are ActionScript 2, I can't call things like _currentframe or nextFrame(), prevFrame(), etc on the pdf2swf-generated SWF because the two ActionScript virtual machines are incompatible.
