This is off topic and has nothing to do with swftools, but it's been
bothering me for a year now. I use ubuntu+firefox and I cannot view, for
instance paper5.html.
Do other sites which use flash work? http://www.youtube.com?
Youtubes don't show when I go to the site. But if I modify the url they
will play fullscreen. For example
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLjNjSpZxzg
shows no youtube, but
http://www.youtube.com/v/BLjNjSpZxzg
brings it up full screen and I can watch it (if I use a proxy server
outside Thailand, here I get "We're sorry, this video is no longer
available").
I didn't know about
http://www.scribd.com?
If I go there I see a band of document icons across the top. Clicking on
one of the icons brings me to a page with an empty frame with buttons
across the top: "share this, send this, add to favorites..." and so on.
I see no way to "fix" this url so I can see it. Using a proxy makes no
difference in either case, unless I first change the url as specified
for youtube. And both sites show up in Opera.
