Im using

and the fonts I need are

Wingdings2
and various styles of Tele-Grotesk

I already tried using the .ttf files and defining a font path via -F.
That didn't help either.

It might be that only root has reading access to the fonts.

I hope it helps,

Pablo

I'm kinda playing with pdf2swf for a while now.
The only obstacle im currently facing is that I only get it to work if
I'm logged in as root.
Otherwise pdf2swf seems to not being able to find / access any fonts

Which swftools version are you using?
The latest pdf2swf versions have built-in fonts, so you shouldn't
have those problems (unless the PDFs you process need a lot of special external fonts).
