poly2bitmap does not work for ALL pdf. thats a fact.
use imagemagick & ghostscript as last resort.
those are warnings that produce incorrect (optical) output (but create a
swf-file):
$warnings = array("WARNING softlight blended transparency
groups not yet supported!",
"WARNING hardlight blended transparency groups not yet
supported!",
"WARNING colordodge blended transparency groups not yet
supported!",
"WARNING screen blended transparency groups not yet
supported!",
"WARNING lighten blended transparency groups not yet
supported!",
"WARNING multiply blended transparency groups not yet
supported!");
in the case of an error you can simply check if the file exists or not.
why make it more complicated than that?
