Hello,

thank you for your answer..

I could extract the text out of the PDFs and write it into a data base.

With a data base request I could figure out on what page a searched word would be...
The viewer will load the pages with the hits...

Could you explane, how to highlight the searched text on the page (in the swf)?

This must work with ActionScript 2 (not AS3).

hi,

get the texts out of the SWFs serverside (using swfstrings) and search in that text in your viewer.

Hello,

I want to use SWFs as pages in my own viewer.
The SWFs will be created with pdf2swf; One SWF for every Page.

The viewer should have fulltext search.
Sometimes the "Book" to be search has more than 600 pages... So, in this case not all pages will be loaded at the beginning...

Can somebody explain to me, what I have to do to have this fulltext search in the viewer.

I have developed a lot with Flash and AS2.
But I have no idea how to implement this feature.

This project has to use AS2!

Thanks for any tip
Benedikt
